PRO Tech Program Rules & Guidelines

Program Overview

The PRO Tech Program is designed to reward plumbing and HVAC professionals for registering Rinnai product installations through the Rinnai Central™ Mobile App. PRO Tech participants earn PERKS by registering products they install as part of their day to day work. 
 

Eligibility

• The PRO Tech Program is open only to individual plumbing and HVAC professionals who (a) install Rinnai products and (b) are legal residents of the United States or Canada (including Quebec). 

• Participants must be the age of majority in their province/territory or state of residence and must have a Professional account in the Rinnai Central™ Mobile App. 

• The program is void where prohibited. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Rinnai and its affiliates (and members of their immediate families/households) are not eligible unless required by law. Participation is limited to individuals; company level rewards are handled separately through other Rinnai programs.

 

Enrollment

To enroll in the PRO Tech Program:

  1. Download and open the Rinnai Central™ Mobile App.
  2. Create a Professional account to be automatically enrolled as a PRO Tech.
  3. Complete account setup as prompted in the app.

Enrollment is free, and participation is optional.

 

Earning PERKS

• PERKS are earned by registering Rinnai products installed through the Rinnai Central™ Mobile App.

• PERKS begin at the 5th product registered and continue at designated registration milestones.

• Registration counts reset annually on January 1 of each program year and will expire on March 31st of the following year.

 

Program Year & Expiration
• Each PRO Tech program year runs from January 1 through December 31.
• Any PERKS earned during a program year must be claimed by March 31 of the following year.
• Unclaimed PERKS will expire after this deadline and are no longer available.

 

Claiming PRO PERKS
• Once a PRO PERK milestone is reached, eligible participants will receive instructions on how to claim their PRO PERKS within the Rinnai Central mobile app.
• PERKS are earned for every five product registrations, starting at five though 40.  After 40, the final PERK for the program year is earned when the 50th product is registered.

 

General Program Rules
• Product registrations must be accurate and reflect actual installations.
• Rinnai reserves the right to review, verify, or reject any registration.
• Any attempt to misuse the program, submit false information, or manipulate registrations may result in removal from the PRO Tech Program and forfeiture of earned PERKS.
• PERKS are physical merchandise only (no cash value). The type, brand, color, size, and availability of PERKS may change based on market availability, and items may be substituted with items of comparable value at Rinnai’s discretion. The PRO Tech Program is subject to change, suspension, or discontinuation; any changes will apply prospectively to the extent permitted by law.
• Installs for Residential New Construction do not qualify for PERKS (see Definitions below).

 

PERK Redemption & Shipping
• PERKS must be claimed by the deadline stated in the Program Year & Expiration section. Unclaimed Perks are forfeited.
• Participants are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate contact and shipping information. Rinnai is not responsible for Perks not received due to incorrect or outdated information.
• Shipping is available only to addresses in the United States and Canada. Additional restrictions may apply to certain items (for example, oversized items or items with shipping limitations).
• Allow reasonable time for fulfillment. If an item becomes unavailable, Rinnai may substitute an item of comparable value at its discretion.

 

Taxes
Participants are solely responsible for any and all federal, state/provincial, and local taxes associated with receipt or use of any PERKS. Rinnai may require completion of applicable tax forms (for example, an IRS Form W 9) as a condition of fulfilling a PERKS, where permitted by law.

 

Privacy & Data Use
• Participation requires use of the Rinnai Central™ Mobile App and is subject to Rinnai’s applicable privacy notice and app terms.
• By submitting installation registrations, participants represent they have the right to provide the information submitted (including any customer/job-site information) and have obtained any required consents.
• Rinnai may use submitted information to administer the program, verify registrations, fulfill Perks, communicate with participants about the program, and for other purposes described in the privacy notice.

 

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
PERKS are provided “as is” and without any additional warranty, except as required by law or provided by the manufacturer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rinnai is not responsible for (a) late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, or rejected registrations; (b) app, network, or system outages; or (c) any damages arising from participation in the program or acceptance/use of any PERK. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to all participants.

 

Governing Law
Language / Quebec Notice
Rinnai may provide program materials and communications in English and French. If you reside in Quebec, you may request to receive program communications in French by emailing: protech@rinnai.us Where required by applicable law, Rinnai will provide a French version of these Rules & Guidelines. To the extent required in Quebec, the French version will prevail.

Except where prohibited or restricted by law: for participants residing in the United States, this program is governed by the laws of the state of Georgia (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). For participants residing in Canada, this program is governed by the laws of the province/territory of the participant’s residence (and the applicable federal laws of Canada), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

 

Definitions (for clarity)
• Qualifying Installation: a completed installation of an eligible Rinnai product that is registered through the app with information that is true, complete, and verifiable.
• Residential New Construction: installations in newly constructed residential properties (including single-family or multi-family) where the initial installation is part of original construction (not a replacement of an existing unit). Rinnai may request documentation to determine whether an installation falls within this exclusion.

 

Opt In / Opt Out
• Participation in the PRO Tech Program is optional.
• Participants may opt out of the program at any time through by emailing: properks@rinnai.us
• Opting out may impact eligibility to earn or claim PRO Perks.
